Review : Glam Works Wax Strips

I recently got this from Watson’s. I used to buy a container of wax and strips online. But since I don’t have time to buy them and go to Lay Bare, which is my trusted waxing salon. I just bought this from Watson’s when I went there and decided to try it out. These wax strips according to the box is for face and underarms.

It comes with 12 wax strips and 2 pieces of Wax Finish Wipes

I don’t like this product at all. It is very horrible in my opinion and it doesn’t work. It only took a few hair out of my underarm even after using 5 strips. It left my skin very red and irritated my underarm skin so badly. It doesn’t work at all. I will never use it again.

  1. I've tried wax strips (but a different brand) as well, and YES, they are awful! Not only are they ineffective in pulling out hair, but they left my skin red and irritated!

I am using a different product where you have to melt the wax and then apply on your underarm. It's much more effective, plus, it did not cause any redness on my skin. You could also buy it from Watson's. :-)

  12. Hi Cris Estacio!

I don't know what happened but I wasn't able to publish your comment. But for your comment/question :

"teh for sensitive dpt kc bnli mu.. ska bkt facial wax kung sa underarm? just askin"

Thank you for this :) Actually, this is already for sensitive skin or that was what the product claimed to be. If you can see the first photo, may nakalagay na "safe for sensitive skin" and as for your question that how come it was a facial wax, I think it's both for the face and underarms, as stated in the packaging. I also asked the staff from Watson's if it was, and she answered politely that it was. Unless we're both wrong which is a possibility. Thank you, Cris! :)

  13. I'm using Belo Essentials right now. Naghahanap ako ng good product for underam when I've read a review on http://www.webbline.com/belo-essentials-whitening-anti-perspirant-deodorant-review/. I've tried it and it helped my UA to become smoother and whiter. The hair' also easier to remove pa.
